There is a small CPU in the housing, and a lightning connector that connects to the buttons and the ipad, so that once you slot your iPad 7,8,9 in, the flippers are now controlled by the buttons. Although there are other ipad virtual pinball games, my table will only work with these due to the circuitry. Personally I think they have some great tables with great physics. Note it won’t work with any other pinball game that I’m aware of. I don’t include the game and I’m not in any way associated with these software companies. In total there are over 30 pinball tables that are supported by my housing/electronics.
